Turkish Furniture Industry Established Its Umbrella Organization

Association of Turkish Furniture Manufacturers (MOSDER) has been established under the leadership of Furniture Accessory Industrialists Association (MAKSDER), Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters (MOBDER), Office Furniture Industry and Businessmen Association (OMSIAD), Kitchen and Bathroom Furniture Industrialists and Importers Association (MUDER), and Furniture Industry Businessmen Association (MOBSAD).

As a result of the elections made at the 1st Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of MOFSED, the Board of Directors to serve for 3 years consisted of Ahmet Güleç, as the Chairman, Engin Küçük, Ercan Ata, İsmail Doğan, Munis Tezbaşaran, Murat Tunç and Seyfi Cahit Ayaskan.

In his statement, Chairman Güleç declared that the industry had taken a historical step and that unity and solidarity would provide a great motivation to the industry and said “This step taken by the furniture industry focusing on 2023 objectives, is a clear indicator of how decisive we are about the objectives. One of our goals for the furniture Industry is to make Turkey a center where international furniture organizations are held. We will develop our cooperation with the relevant departments of the universities for the development of the industry.”
